Challenge: Spark a movement that incites more joy.

Insight: According to The Joy Study, 91% of those surveyed identify negative self-talk as their primary obstacle in experiencing joy.

Our associates encounter negative self-talk everyday within our stores.

Idea: Starting from the inside out, let’s give people the tools they need to silence their inner critic.

phase 1

Together with Mel Robbins, we created a “tool kit for joy” training program for all of Ulta Beauty’s associates. The platform teaches them to first spot and silence the inner critic within themselves and then do the same with each and every guest that walks through our doors.
